McGill Linguistics Fieldwork Lab alumna Gretchen McCulloch‘s new book, Because Internet: Understanding the New Rules of Language, was published with rave reviews and made the New York Times Best Sellers list last week. Before Gretchen became a professional internet linguist, she wrote her 2013 McGill MA thesis on Mi’gmaq preverbs. Nice work Gretchen!
